  Note: Video clips and video clip worksheets are included on a unit CD.

  * Directions for downloading a Kidspiration file from this Web site:

  1. Click on the Kidspiration document on this page.
  2. Another window will open. The file will appear as "gibberish." Go to File > Save As. The file name will appear with two extensions--.kid and .txt.
  3. Delete the .txt extension and save. (It will be easier if you save the document to your desktop.)
  4. Another box will appear--click Don't append.
  5. You have saved the document, click out of the "gibberish" window.
  6. It is necessary to have Kidspiration software on your computer to open up the Kidspiration document. After the document is downloaded on your computer, open up the Kidspiration software and then go to the open a file command. Select the Kidspiration document you just saved. It should then open correctly on your computer.
  7. After the document opens, click save as. This time you can save it wherever you wish. This process does NOT have to be repeated once it is on your desktop.
