The Board of Education meets for Regular Board meetings on the first and third Tuesday of the month. There is only one meeting in July and December. See the Board Meeting Calendar Web Page for more information.
Our Philosophy
The Englewood School District is committed to the basic premise that the purpose of a public education is to help each individual student develop the limit of his/her own capacity in order that she/he may have a useful life lived in dignity and freedom. Each individual student shall be offered an educational program which promotes intellectual, physical, social, emotional and aesthetic growth and well-being.
Accreditation
The District is accredited by the Colorado Department of Education. Englewood High School and Colorado's Finest Alternative High School are also accredited by the North Central Association. Beginning in 1998, individual schools within the District were among the first in Colorado to be accredited by the new State accreditation system.
