Expectations
Art/PE Credit
While Music, Art, and Physical Education are an important part of a
comprehensive educational program, at ELA students and their families
have the opportunity to organize and fulfill these requirements independently.
Students are required to complete 3 hours of art/fine arts and 3 hours
of physical education per week, for a total of 108 hours each, per year.
Community Service
Service and learning blend in ways that enrich one another. Using a
service learning approach, ELA students will be more responsible, achieve
at higher levels academically, and experience a sense of selfless giving
and stewardship in the community. Students are required to organize,
plan, and fulfill 50 hours of community service each year.
