Arapahoe
County School District No. 1 is located in Englewood, Colorado,
a self-reliant suburb of Denver. There are approximately 3500
students enrolled in five elementary schools, two middle schools,
and two high schools. One of the middle schools and one of
the high schools are alternative schools. Englewood enjoys a diversified
economic base that includes industry and privately owned businesses.

Englewood High School
Englewood
High School is a comprehensive four-year high school with a student
population of approximately 758 students in grades 9-12 and 46
licensed teachers.
The student/teacher ratio is 1:18. The school is accredited
by the Colorado
Department of Education and holds membership in the College Board,
the National Alliance of High Schools, and the National Association
of College Admissions Counselors. This is the 95th year for
Englewood High. During this time Englewood High students have
annually been awarded numerous scholarships and academic honors
including 30 Boettcher scholars.
