At it's May 6 meeting, the Board of Education approved a full-day kindergaten program for all elementary schools at no cost to the student's families. Favorable legislation from the State Capitol has allowed Englewood Schools to fund the program from its general fund.
Where to Enroll
Now through May 30 and after August 5 Enroll at the school your child will be attending. (Call the school for office hours.)
June 2 through August 4 Enroll at the District Administration Building, 4101 S. Bannock St., 303-761-7050, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
NOTE FOR BISHOP FAMILIES: If your child is attending Bishop Elementary, Bishop is accepting enrollments at the school through June 25.
Be sure to bring the following documents when you come to enroll your child:
Immunization Record
Birth Certificate—Children are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten if they are five years of age on or before September 15 of the current school year.
PLEASE NOTE: Per Board Policy JEB, September 15 is the new entrance age requirement, effective with the 2008-09 school year.
